Vulnerability discovery is no longer the hard part. Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview surfaced close to 3,900 high- and critical-severity findings on its own. The bottleneck has moved to fixing issues, especially in the old, deeply embedded libraries that financial institutions run but cannot upgrade according to a vulnerability's timeline.  In this session, we share what we've learned producing these critical fixes for the financial services industry.  We'll walk through the four production backpatches we shipped in five hours (Netty, Spring Framework, Camel, Bouncy Castle), the end-to-end pipeline from patch to deployment, and the OpenRewrite recipes and VEX documents that allow customers to consume them without disrupting existing scanners or CI.
