About me
Eric Baran is a senior executive with two decades of experience driving growth for enterprise software and cloud technology companies. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Sales at Moderne, following a four-year tenure at Amazon Web Services as Principal Sales Leader for Agentic Development within Global Financial Services. Earlier in his career, during a prior stint at AWS focused on Public Sector Developer Platform motions, he was a founding member of the ATO on AWS program, which helped automate compliance accreditation for SaaS providers in regulated industries.
In between his two AWS roles, Eric held senior sales leadership positions at Digital.ai and GitHub, where he helped build the post-acquisition co-sell partnership with Microsoft. His earlier career includes senior roles at Microsoft, IBM, and Sogeti, with a focus on enterprise software, cloud transformation, and DevOps. Eric holds a degree from the University of Delaware's Lerner College of Business and Economics and is based in the West Chester, PA area.
