Vanessa Yiu is the Chief Technology Officer for Group Technology Infrastructure at Deutsche Bank, where she leads technology strategy for the bank’s infrastructure platforms. She joined Deutsche Bank in November 2025 from UBS Group, where she served as Technology Fellow and Head of Core Engineering for their Group CTO division.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Vanessa spent nearly two decades at Goldman Sachs in progressively senior engineering roles across application infrastructure, global enterprise platforms and architecture, and identity and access management.
Vanessa is a Fellow of The British Computer Society and holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. Her technical interests include distributed systems engineering, site reliability engineering and platform engineering.
